Orange Chilli Base Sauce
Orange Chilli Base Sauce is a versatile ingredient for BBW Glaze, chilli con carne and a host of other dishes
Ingredients

- 4 Small Orange F1 Chillies or 1 Orange Habanero
- 1 Large Orange Pepper
- 2/3 of Yellow Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp. lazy garlic or 2 cloves
- Dash of Lemon
- Pinch of Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar
Cooking

- Blend the peppers, chillies and tomatoes to form a rough paste, leave the chillie seeds in if you want extra heat
- Pop a small saucepan on the heat, give the paste a minute while moving
- Add a dash of lemon, and the cider vinegar.
- Heat for about 20 minutes or so
- Check seasoning, add salt and pepper to taste.
Leave to cool, and use this base in a multitude of different recipes like;
- Mix equal quantities of the sauce with Mayonnaise for a uniquely flavored accompaniment to a ham and cheese toasty!
- Equal quantities with Tomato Ketchup and honey and a large dash of Worcester Sauce for an amazing BBQ Sauce/glaze for chicken.
- Use this base with the ingredients in this recipe (without adding fresh chilli).
